What is a bare metal server?

A bare metal server is a single-tenant physical machine rented from a hosting provider, where you receive full root access to the entire CPU, RAM, storage, and network interface — no hypervisor layer, no shared cores, no noisy neighbours. Unlike virtual private servers (VPS) or public cloud instances such as AWS EC2 or Google Compute Engine, a bare metal server gives you direct hardware access, predictable latency, and the full IOPS budget of the underlying NVMe drives. This makes bare metal the standard choice for workloads that suffer under virtualization: blockchain validators and archive nodes, low-latency trading engines, MEV searchers, GPU and CPU-based LLM inference, game servers, video transcoding, and self-hosted databases. Modern providers deploy bare metal in 10–15 minutes through APIs that feel cloud-native, while billing remains an order of magnitude more predictable than per-second instance pricing with egress fees on top.

What's included

Everything we ship costs nothing extra.

No metered bandwidth. No surprise bills. No "premium" upsells. The plan you pick is the plan you pay.

Bandwidth
100TB / mo

Free outbound traffic, every month.

Up to 100 TB monthly outbound on most dedicated plans. 30 TB on entry-level Xeon. 20 TB in Singapore. Inbound is always unmetered, on every plan. Your invoice never moves.

Network
3–10Gbps

Dedicated port. Not burst-only.

A full 3–10 Gbps NIC depending on tier — never shared, never throttled. Top-tier EPYC and Threadripper builds get the full 10 Gbps line.

Access
root

Total control over the box.

Full SSH root from day one. Install custom kernels, run any OS, tune the BIOS. No hypervisor in the way.

Provisioning
15min

Faster than a coffee break.

Click, pay, get credentials. We handle the metal. You skip the tickets and the phone calls.

Billing
USDC

Pay how your treasury does.

Cards, ACH, or USDC stablecoin via Stripe Crypto. Same price, same product. Built for crypto-native teams.

Flexibility

No contracts. No exit fees.

Cancel from the dashboard in one click. Your server runs to the end of the cycle, then terminates. No retention agents.

We built this for the workloads that actually need the metal — AI inference at scale, validator nodes that can't be slashed, trading systems that count microseconds, streaming infrastructure that moves real bandwidth.

The BareMetalServer.ai philosophy
Included on every plan

An AI engineer on every server.

No other bare metal host ships this. One click installs Claude Code on your box — the same AI assistant that engineers pay for in their IDE, now sitting inside your SSH session.

Ask for a Solana validator. A Llama 70B deployment. A 100-player Minecraft server. Claude handles the install, the config, the systemd units, the firewall rules. You watch it happen in your browser.

"Finally a bare metal host that doesn't ban crypto payments. Deployed my Solana validator in under 10 minutes. The Claude Code integration is next-level — I literally told it 'set up the firewall and harden SSH' and it did."

The honest comparison

Where we actually win.

We're not the cheapest — Hetzner is. We're not the biggest — AWS is. We're the only one that ships an AI assistant on every box, accepts crypto without KYC, and includes 100 TB of bandwidth for free.

Solana validators hate noisy neighbors. Ethereum archive nodes hate slow disks. Trading bots hate latency. Real metal solves all three. Sub-millisecond peering to major networks from Amsterdam and Lithuania.

Algorithmic & high-frequency trading

Microseconds matter. Hypervisor jitter, shared CPU steal, and noisy storage all cost real money. Dedicated cores, dedicated NICs, no overhead — the infrastructure HFT desks built themselves a decade ago.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

What's the difference between bare metal and VPS?
Bare metal means you get the entire physical server — every CPU core, every gigabyte of RAM, all disk I/O, and a dedicated 10 Gbps port. A VPS shares hardware with dozens of other tenants. With bare metal, your performance is consistent, predictable, and yours alone.
How fast can I deploy a server?
5–20 minutes from checkout to SSH. Pay via Stripe, get credentials by email, log in. No support tickets, no approval queues. Fully automated provisioning.
Do you accept crypto payments?
Yes — USDC via Stripe Crypto, alongside cards and ACH. Same price, same product. Built for crypto-native teams who don't always have a corporate card.
How much bandwidth is included?
Up to 100 TB outbound per month on most US/EU dedicated plans. Entry-level Xeon E5 plans include 30 TB. Singapore is 20 TB (separate accounting due to higher infrastructure costs there). Inbound is unmetered on every plan. Bandwidth is project-wide additive, so multiple servers share the total cap. Overage is €0.5/TB (€1.69/TB in Singapore) — still ~150× cheaper than AWS at $90/TB.
Can I cancel anytime?
One-click cancellation from your dashboard. No retention agents, no contracts. Your server runs until the end of your current billing period, then terminates automatically.
What's your refund policy?
Payments are non-refundable, but you keep the server for the full period you paid for. Cancel anytime — your server runs until the end of the cycle. If hardware fails, we migrate you to equivalent metal at no cost.
Which region should I pick?
Pick what's closest to your users. Chicago for North America, Amsterdam or Frankfurt for Europe, Singapore for Asia. For validators, network peering matters more than physical distance — Amsterdam and Lithuania peer best with major chains.
Is there real human support?
Yes — 24/7 English support via email and in-dashboard chat. Infrastructure-level issues are covered. For application help, we provide best-effort guidance.
